Standard wheel bore includes a pair of shielded ball bearings. Alternate wheel bore with plain bore and keyways. Castor body is made with electrowelded steel plate and painted grey. The swivel arrangement is with a thrust and a taper roller bearing. The wheel or castor is suitable for use on compact floors and is not recommended for non compact floors like asphalt. Suitable for use where alchohol and glycol are present but not suitable for use with mineral and organic acids, base solutions and hot saturated vapour. Brake option locks swivel head and wheel. The addition of a directional lock facility provides four locking points and turns a swivel castor into a fixed or rigid castor. Same castors are available with elastic rubber tyred wheels.
